Client currently seeks a Intermediate Tester to join our team in Halifax, NS
Job Description
Qualifications:
- The candidate would have 4 or more years of QA testing experience.
- The candidate would several years of experience in:
- Reviewing Requirement documentation
- Creating Test Plans
- Executing tests and documenting detailed results
- Automation Testing
- An understanding of Object Oriented development
- Defect Tracking or Ticket Tracking software, such as Jira or OPT
- Using Microsoft Office and SharePoint
- Various Internet Browsers, such as IE, FireFox and Chrome
- Leading and mentoring junior team members
- Working knowledge of Java, Perl, Python, Linux, Databases (Preferably MySQL), Networking
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent training would be considered an asset.
- Rational Function Tester experience would be considered an asset.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with t.
