Technical Sales Representative

Allen Professional Search, London office, is currently recruiting?for a Technical Sales Representative - Kitchener to Toronto for?one of our?clients a worldwide leader in the design and manufacture of quality fluid control components,?pneumatic and motion control products. This is a permanent opportunity.

The successful candidate will help this dynamic organization with both their short- and long-range growth objectives by creating new business and developing effective sales channels for assigned products, evaluating markets and implementing strategic plans.

Responsibilities:

·???????? Promote and secure the sale of?fluid power products used in the control of industrial automation process markets

·???????? Establish new accounts by following up on sales leads, visiting and participating in trade shows and referencing various trade directories and journals

·???????? Involvement in making presentations to consultants and engineers

·???????? Development and submission of verbal and written reports detailing sales calls, competitor activity, products, potential customers, and customer needs

Qualifications:

·???????? Post-secondary education in mechanical engineering, or process/instrumentation technology, fluid power automation or controls

·???????? Minimum 3 years experience in technical direct sales to end-users and OEM's

·???????? Must be able?to work both in a team environment and remotely, with little direct supervision

·???????? Ability to utilize computer software to present data and reports in a meaningful format, along with strong presentation skills

·???????? Organized, independent, self-motivated with strong ability to prioritize

·???????? Must be available and able to travel extensively within the?Kitchener to Western Toronto?corridor

Compensation includes?base salary plus sales bonus, company car, computer equipment for home office, blackberry and extensive benefit package.
