Our client, active in both civil and building construction throughout the Atlantic Provinces is currently seeking an experienced Site Superintendent for their Mount Pearl, Newfoundland location.? They have earned a reputation for performance, quality work and financial stability.
Reporting to the Project Manager, the primary role of Site Superintendent is to organize, coordinate and monitor all the site functions and activities necessary to achieve the Project objectives of Budget, Quality, Schedule, client satisfaction and maintaining a safe working environment.
Requirements:
Post Secondary Education (Diploma or Degree) in a construction discipline.Journeyman’s classification in a skilled trade.Minimum 4 years in a supervisory role of commercial projects.Ability to coordinate on-site operations including implementation of drawings and specifications.Familiarity with industrial, institutional, and commercial construction.Adept at scheduling, budget control, and proper detailing.Strong attention to detail, excellent follow-up skills, exceptional judgment skills and proactively takes initiative.Demonstrated communication skills (written and verbal) and a strong ethic of teamwork.Our client offers competitive wages, an excellent benefits package and opportunity for advancement.
